I traveled with and shot the entire LSU Women's Basketball run to the National Championship game during my junior year of college at LSU.

From capturing moments of grit and intensity to celebration and nets coming down, I had the opportunity to grow as a professional photographer in a crucial moment for LSU Athletics.

Our journey began in Baton Rouge where I managed a team of three other student photographers to complete our shot list and take advantage of the privilege of hosting March Madness games. After defeating Hawaii and Michigan, we returned to Greenville, South Carolina where I alone shot the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games. Working alongside our SID, I meant all photo requirements while live transmitting photos during all events.

Our trip to Dallas involved behind-the-scenes media shooting, fan fests and practices. Shooting the Final Four and National Championship game as the lead shooter taught me so much about operating as a professional.

I managed a second shooter, operated remote cameras, and created smooth live transmitting access throughout the entire week. My photos were used on all of the team's social media, the LSU Sports website and the coaches' and athletes' social media.

As a junior in college, being entrusted as the number-one shooter for such a crucial event was a fantastic opportunity. While it taught me things I can work on. My photography work helped grow the team's Instagram (@lsuwbkb) to over 150,000 followers following the National Championship game.
